Scribe Engineering Limited
Scribe Engineering has been providing mechanical design and CAD services since 2014, working from March in Cambridgeshire. We specialise in machinery — equipment that has to be fabricated, assembled, transported, used hard and then maintained.
The work is deliberately hands-on. Rather than producing pretty models that fall apart on contact with a fabrication shop, the emphasis is on detail that can actually be built: sensible tolerances, weldments that a welder can get a torch into, fasteners a fitter can reach, and drawings that answer questions instead of raising them.
Most clients are small and medium-sized manufacturers who have more design work than design resource, and who would rather buy experience by the day than carry it permanently.
