How we help

Engineering support that fits your project

Whether you are developing a new machine, fixing a design that keeps coming back from the field, or simply need another experienced pair of hands on SolidWorks, we pick up the work at whatever stage it has reached.

New machinery development

Concepts, 3D CAD, detailed design and full production documentation for robust new equipment.

Machine improvement & optimisation

Improve reliability, manufacturability and serviceability on equipment already in production.

Flexible design capacity

Experienced mechanical design support for workload peaks, bottlenecks and specialist projects.

Built for manufacture

From a field problem to production-ready detail

Agricultural equipment gets used hard, in mud, in a hurry, by people who cannot afford downtime in a narrow weather window. Design decisions have to account for that — and for the fabrication shop, the assembly bench and the fitter who will service it three seasons from now.

Design for the workshop

Drawings, weldments and BOMs that your fabricators and suppliers can work from without ringing up for clarification.

Senior-led throughout

You talk to the engineer doing the design. Nothing gets lost passing through an account manager.

Confidential by default

Customer designs, drawings and intellectual property are treated as your property and kept that way.

Where we work

Based in March, working across the East of England — and beyond

Scribe Engineering is based at March in Cambridgeshire, in the middle of some of the most intensively farmed land in the country. We are within easy reach of manufacturers across the Fens and East Anglia for site visits, design reviews and measuring up existing machinery.

Most design work is delivered remotely, so distance is rarely a barrier — we work with manufacturers throughout the UK. But if it helps to have someone stand in front of the machine with a tape measure and a notepad, that is usually straightforward.
